Lindsay Lohan's estranged father Michael says that he's the one who called police on the actress and her mother Dina to break up their fight early Wednesday morning.

Lindsay and her mom, who was reportedly drunk; according to witnesses at a New York City nightclub where the two were spotted; began arguing and things escalated on the trip back to the family's Long Island, New York home.

Lindsay called her father during the ride and he recorded the call (which was released by Wednesday night) and in the audio Lindsay can be heard telling her father that Dina was using drugs, among other things -- like calling her "the devil."

"Dad, she's on cocaine," she says; "She's like touching her neck, and s**t."

Michael keeps telling Lindsay that she was being "kidnapped" by her mother.

"[Lindsay] even asked that I record the conversation because she was being held against her will by the limo driver at Dina's instruction," Michael Lohan says in a statement to

"Dina is endangering Lindsay, (sister) Ali and (brother) Cody and it has to stop. She is using the kids as pawns... Dina and her lies must stop," he adds; "I will not have this done to my kids or be lied to any more."

TMZ reports that the fight broke out because Lindsay loaned her mother $40,000 to save her house from foreclosure.

"She's saying disgusting things to me ... I'm dead to her now," Lindsay says in the call.

The Mean Girls star sustained a broken diamond bracelet (not stolen) and a "gash" to her leg during their spat; and after she got off the phone with Michael he called the police, who arrived at the house around 6AM Wednesday morning.

No arrests were made and mother and daughter have since made up; however Lindsay jetted off to Los Angeles shortly after with her brother for the launch party of the new Mr. Pink energy drink.

The incident isn't the first time Dina's been accused of drinking too much or doing drugs, Michael accused her of being drunk during an interveiw with Dr. Phil last month.
