Virtuoso songwriter, frontman, bassist, and visual alchemist Les Claypool will release the DVD "5 Gallons Of Diesel" -- a comprehensive overview of Claypool's solo projects and collaborations including over 3.5 hours of live performances and video footage -- November 15th on his own Prawn Song Records. The first ever video release of Claypool's solo career, '5 Gallons' follows on the heels of two wildly succesful Primus DVD's, the platinum 2003 release 'Animals Should Not Try To Act Like People' and 2004's gold 'Hallucino-Genetics Live.'

The eye-popping compilation spans over a decade of Claypool's eclectic and creative material, and features an all-star cast of performers including Buckethead, Warren Haynes, Rob Wasserman, Skerik, Jay Lane, and Bernie Worell. Highlights include: Oysterhead's performance of "Shadow Of A Man," the first commercially available video release from Claypool's landmark collaboration with Phish's Trey Anastasio and Stewart Copeland of The Police; the Sausage video for 'Riddles Are About Tonight' famous for inspiring the "Great Cornholio" episode of Beavis and Butthead; and two complete episodes of Claypool's excursions with the ESPN2 celebrity fishing show "Fly Fishing The World."

In other Claypool news, Primus (Claypool, Tim Alexander, and Larry LaLonde) are currently working on a new studio album slated for release in early 2006.
