Lady Gaga has stepped in to buy up a collection of her old belongings after a former manager announced he was auctioning them off.
The Paparazzi singer reportedly contacted auctioneers Gotta Have It! Collectibles and asked them to return the property, which included rare demo CDs dating as far back as 2002.
The company agreed to hand over the items for a small fee. The amount paid by Gaga's management team for the lots has not been disclosed.
The items are the latest pulled from the upcoming Gotta Have Rock and Roll auction - last week, the FBI seized John Lennon's 1976 application for U.S. residence before it could be sold.
Federal agents told the auction house bosses the lot was in fact property of the U.S. Government, and, as such, could not be sold.
