In less than a year since their humble and humid debut performance in an east village basement back in September 2006, Klaxons have unwittingly created a "genre that doesn't exist", have accidentally reinvented Rave music for hipsters & day glow wear for the catwalk. They've baffled then blown away critics with their intense and awe-inspiring live shows, released a highly acclaimed and innovative debut album "Myths of the Near Future" that even received a nod from the Thin White Duke himself. They've signed a major record deal with Geffen, won Best New Act at the NME Awards, have been nominated for a Mercury Music Award, have predicted the end of the world for us all and just for good measure, whilst on stage performing their apocalyptic Horsemen of 2012 in France, Jamie also managed to break a few bones along the way.

Very rarely do we see a band that can turn the sounds, scenes and street culture upside down and so unexpectedly so. After signing their first UK record deal based upon their first ever live show together as a band, they then proceeded to play at Glastonbury on their second. Indeed, this journey has proven to be a fast one for this London based trio and the story for these sci-fi literary enthusiasts is merely on it's first chapter.
