Kirsten Dunst Slams Apple Over Naked Photo Leak
Kirsten Dunst is criticizing Apple following the massive photo leak that revealed naked images of several celebrities online. The actress was one of those targeted by a hacker, who published a large amount of explicit personal images for the world to see. Dunst is shown topless in several of the pictures.
The hacker allegedly got access to the images via Apple iCloud accounts. Dunst wrote on Twitter: "Thank you iCloud," along with emojis of a piece of pizza and a pile of poop.
Apple is currently investigating the incident and said in a statement: "We take user privacy very seriously and are actively investigating this report."
The FBI has also gotten involved. Bureau spokeswoman Laura Eimiler said in a statement on Monday, "The FBI is aware of the allegations concerning computer intrusions and the unlawful release of material involving high profile individuals, and is addressing the matter. Any further comment would be inappropriate at this time."
Other celebs included in the naked photo leak are Jessica Brown Findlay, Kate Upton, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Jennifer Lawrence, whose publicist has warned that anyone caught sharing the photos could face prosecution.
