Khloe Kardashian had a war of words with an Australian morning show after they claimed she cut short an interview when her niece North West was mentioned.
Khloe held a video interview with the anchors of Sunrise to discuss several projects including a new line of children's clothing. Host Sam Armytage asked, "I guess the baby line was inspired now with lots of nieces and nephews running around. How's baby North going?"
Khloe answered the question but repeatedly looked off-camera to someone else before the feed was suddenly cut. After being told by producers that the feed was turned off on Khloe's side, the anchors blasted Khloe on-air. David Koch noted he didn't ask things like, "Do you need to do a sex tape to be famous?" and, "If the Kardashian's are this famous, has it brought pop culture to the lowest end?"
Sunrise Executive Producer Michael Pell said, "What happened with Khloe Kardashian on the show is a good lesson for publicists everywhere. Don't try and censor natural conversation. You would think coming on to promote a range of clothes that include a baby line, it would be fair enough to ask about the inspiration."
Why would I cut an interview short because of North? Get over your self Sunrise... The call dropped... stop reaching for a story— Khloé (@khloekardashian) March 17, 2014
Khloe then took to Twitter to defend herself, writing, "Why would I cut an interview short because of North? Get over your self Sunrise... The call dropped... stop reaching for a story" and, "You are so f---ing desperate!"
Sunrise has since said a representative has apologized to them.
