Katy Perry has released another countdown single from her forthcoming album, "Prism", which is due to hit stores and ditital on October 22.
New track "Walking On Air" hit iTunes at midnight Monday and is the second track to get an early release following "Dark Horse", which features rapper Juicy J..
“Another color from my #PRISM: WALKING ON AIR! Available NOW as part of my #PRISMPREVIEW!,” the singer tweeted.
The track is the typical synthesizer filled club anthem with an unce, unce, unce beat -- something Katy thinks she'll be moving away from on her fourth album.
"I'll probably turn into more of a Joni Mitchell," she tells Billboard magazine. "As I inch towards my 30s, I think my fourth record will be more of an acoustic guitar album. That's where I started when I was first discovered by (songwriter/producer) Glen Ballard and got my first record deal.
"We'll see - I can't get ahead of myself. I'm still doing the work: I'm a good balance of left and right brain, and to be an artist with a long career, you've got to have both... I've got a few records under my belt, and I still feel like a brand-new artist. People still want that truth to cut through."
Katy released her an album of Christian music under her real name, Katy Hudson, in 2001, before becoming an international pop star.
Katy headlining the 30th, and final day of London's iTunes Festival earlier today. The show also featured Icona Pop and Iggy Azalea.
