Justin Bieber Performs At SXSW, Dedicates Song To His 'Baby Girl' Selena Gomez
Justin Bieber made a surprise performance at South by Southwest (SXSW) on Sunday night at Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden in Austin, Texas.
He even dedicated a song, "Boyfriend," to his on/again, off/again girlfriend Selena Gomez. He told about 100 concertgoers, "This goes out to my baby girl." She just happened to be hanging out backstage.
Other surprise performers included boy band The Wanted, Cody Simpson, Dan + Shay, Tori Kelly and Rixton. The event was held by Bieber's manager Scooter Braun.
Bieber tweeted on Monday: “So yeah had to show up and surprise the crowd night at the #SBPSundayFunday. U thought I wouldn't? :)."
He followed up with: "Fun taking the stage with all the other acts. Great people. Had to do a little acoustic set myself. Maybe I should do another one? ;)"
Bieber and Gomez have fueled speculation that they are back together after they were spotted getting coffee and having breakfast at Don Pepe's in McAllen, Texas on March 7. The next day the two made out at McAllen’s Xtreme Lazer Tag arena.
Meanwhile, Bieber has been making headlines after video tape surfaced of his deposition in a case involving his bodyguard and a photographer. During interrogation the singer acts very cocky, contemptuous agitated while answering questions from the attorneys involved.
