Johnny Depp had to be careful filming a sex scene for new movie The Libertine in case he broke the antique bed. The heartthrob star was shooting saucy scenes on a 16th century bed at an English stately home, and staff kept a close eye on him because they were scared the frantic love scenes might damage it. Bosses at Montacute House in Somerset demanded they stay on set during the passionate scenes.

House steward Sharon Masters told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "It's a beautiful oak carved bed and is priceless in the sense that it couldn't be replaced. I was one of a small number on set for the love scenes - an unusual environment to be giving conservation advice." She added: "Watching him filming a love scene in an experience I will never forget. Thankfully nothing was damaged."

Earlier this year, Depp confessed he has a fetish for women's clothes and often stares at girls' shoes and stockings. He said at the time: "I'd be embarrassed for my friends to find out that I'm familiar with women's clothing. Actually I find myself constantly sneaking looks at women's shoes and stockings. I've developed this subconscious habit. It may be a little dangerous - I'm a little worried."
