Jennifer Lopez tops the list of PEOPLE magazine's 22nd annual "World's Most Beautiful" of 2011, marking the 11th time the American Idol judge, singer, actress, and L'Oreal model has appeared in this special double issue. She is joined by fellow "Most Beautiful" Hall of Famers Halle Berry (15 times), Jennifer Garner and Beyonce Knowles (both 8 times), and Cheryl Burke, a newcomer to the list. The 95 fabulous faces featured in the issue also include such gorgeous guys as George Clooney, Patrick Dempsey, and Hugh Jackman, plus PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive, Ryan Reynolds.

Though her eighth album, Love? debuts in May, Jennifer Lopez's greatest achievement becomes instantly apparent when her 3-year-old daughter Emme toddles into the room of Mommy's office at home just north of LA, just to give her a hug. "Yeah, she's amazing," Lopez tells PEOPLE. "She's such a girly girl. Just like a mini me." It's her family - including Emme's twin, Max, and husband Marc Anthony - who have taught Lopez that "beauty comes from the inside out" and allowed her to connect to millions as a judge on American Idol. At 41, looking half her age, Lopez opens up to PEOPLE in an exclusive interview about happiness, confidence, and how she gets her J-Glow. Below are excerpts.

PEOPLE: How does it feel being on the cover of this issue?
Lopez: It's so crazy. Rarely am I left speechless, but I feel honored. I feel not worthy, you know? I feel happy and proud. Proud that I'm not 25!

PEOPLE: Do you feel better now about yourself than you did in your 20s?
Lopez: Yes. I feel better, I feel smarter. In my 20s, I just wasn't there in my mind and my soul and my spirit. It's just great to be in the position I'm in now and be able to share that with the world.

PEOPLE: You have never looked better. What do you attribute that to?
Lopez: I think it's because I have a lot of love in my life. I feel lucky to be an attractive person, but I've always felt that real beauty always comes from your heart.

PEOPLE: What do men most compliment you on?
Lopez: Men don't compliment me - they're afraid of Marc!

PEOPLE: How do you feel about aging in Hollywood?
Lopez: I think with people like me and Jennifer Aniston, Halle Berry, and Julia Roberts, this generation is redefining what it is to be a woman who is not in her 20s anymore but is still very viable, sexy and important. We have a lot to offer. And people are starting to realize the beauty in that.

In the rest of her exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Jennifer Lopez shares her secrets behind being a beauty icon, including how she takes care of her flawless skin, which part of her body she likes best (and which part drives her crazy), and what's most important when it comes to looking and feeling younger.

Kicking off PEOPLE's 5th annual "Not a Drop of Makeup" section - nine fresh faces photographed in nothing but moisturizer and lip balm - is Julianne Hough, 22, star of the upcoming movie Footloose. "Being in the dance world, I had makeup on all the time, and I regret wearing that much…I've definitely toned it down, especially since my Dancing with the Stars days," she tells PEOPLE. "I was always Oompa-Loompa orange from the fake tan!" Twenty seven year-old Mandy Moore, star of the film Tangled, admits, "I'm a product junkie. I love playing with makeup, but when it comes down to it, I don't think I'm particularly good at putting on my own makeup. You get spoiled after you've been lucky enough to work with people who know what they're doing." And Scream 4 actress Hayden Panettiere, 21, tells PEOPLE, "There was never an age that I didn't wear makeup in some aspect of my life. I started on soap operas when I was 4." One of her beauty tips is starting off "with a nice canvas to have fun with makeup. I love facials. It's like getting a tune-up on your car."

In a brand new section, PEOPLE celebrates the "Year of the Bombshell" with a new appreciation for four sex symbols - Jessica Simpson, Christina Hendricks, Sofia Vergara, and Paula Patton -- who have got it - and they're happy to flaunt it. Simpson, 30, says, "I like my nose because there's a bump in it. Little imperfections make you different." Mad Men star Christina Hendricks, 35, admits, "I like to get dressed up and go out to dinner with my husband. He appreciates all the work that goes into getting dressed up but he likes me when I'm relaxed. He would probably say I'm sexiest at home cooking." Modern Family's Sofia Vergara, 38, reveals that she's a natural blonde. "I was a lot: big boobs, tan, big mouth, the accent, the blonde hair. The dark hair toned me down." Jumping the Broom star Paula Patton, 35, tells PEOPLE, "I realized a long time ago I'm not going to be a size 0. For me, life is about drinking wine and having bread and cheese - just not every day!"

In "Half Their Age," PEOPLE honors five women who have avoided the pitfalls of aging in Hollywood by turning back the clock to look just as good as when they hit big. At 57, Christie Brinkley, who's currently playing the twenty-something Roxie Hart on Broadway in Chicago, admits, "If I don't do squats while I'm drying my hair, it's a waste of time." The multitasking mother of three shares her hair philosophy: "Too platinum can look gray. Golden-y tones are more youthful." Dana Delany, 55, is proud of her "attitude," she says. "I'm a bit of a rebel. I'm not married. I don't have kids. I live in total freedom." Jennifer Beals, 47, says she takes a sober approach to maintaining a healthy complexion. "I drink very rarely," the Chicago Code actress says. "Maybe three or four glasses or wine a year."

A recent scientific study found that pretty people tend to have higher IQs. One of the six Ivy League stunners featured in PEOPLE's "Beautiful Minds" section is True Blood's Anna Paquin, who attended Columbia University for a year before leaving to pursue her career. "I've never felt like if I seemed smart that it would be a bad thing," the New Zealand-raised 28 year-old tells PEOPLE. What was the most valuable thing that 32 year-old singer and actress Tatyana Ali learned at Harvard University? "It made me realize how important intelligence is," she tells PEOPLE, adding that her smartest career move was when she "decided to take my future into my own hands and started a production company." While Yale University graduate Jordana Brewster, 30, says, "I love Tina Fey because…on 30 Rock, she's smart and a bit of a mess. We all relate to that."
