Jennifer Lopez showed up to the 32nd Annual Carousel of Hope Ball in Beverly Hills on Saturday night showing a little bit of skin an a gorgeous pearly white Georges Chakra dress that reminds us of a glass of the bubbly. In fact, we're guessing that there was plenty of champagne passed around this gala. The new "American Idol" judge attended the prestigious event with her husband, Marc Anthony, and also performed for guests at the gala.
This year's ball honored Quincy Jones and Maria Shriver for their lifetime achievements, Shriver was given the Brass Ring award for her work with Alzheimers patients and numerous women's causes and Jones was given the Global Humanitarian Award. Coincedentally, Jones was honored on the 25th anniversary of his biggest benefit - the all-star collaboration "We Are The World."
Lopez, who signed a one-year $12 million contract to judge talent on "Idol," recently fired back at reports that she 'sold out.' The singer claims that the prospect of living in L.A. for six months with her family would let her get into an everyday routine and spend time with her toddler twins.
Elton John recently called the talent show "boring" and "crippling." We think J. Lo will be great.
