Jennifer Esposito has called a former flame a "master manipulator" in her new memoir, "Jennifer's Way," leading many to speculate that the comments are aimed at ex-husband Bradley Cooper.

The former couple married on December 30, 2006, but split by the following May, shortly before she landed a role alongside Christina Applegate in the short-lived Samantha Who, which debuted in October 2007.

Esposito never mentions Cooper by name, but just pages after she says her mystery ex hd a "mean, cold side" and that his "personality could flip on a dime, she begins to discuss getting the role on the show.

Esposito wrote that when the two first hooked up there was an "entire marching band squad of red flags" that told her it was a bad idea, but she couldn't help falling for the "funny, smart, cocky, arrogant" actor.

The actress, whose book primarily focuses on her lifelong battle with celiac disease, also says that she became sad and alone while in that relationship, and all it took was attending a seminar at a spiritual center to set her free.

“I became very sad and I felt very alone,” Esposito says. “Within days, my relationship hit an all-time low, and within a week it was over.

"Abruptly, rudely, and with the exact callousness that I’d come to expect from him.”
