Country singer Jason Aldean has traded the stage for the outfield after signing up for spring training with the Atlanta Braves baseball team.
The singer is currently filming an episode of Great American Country TV show "Day Jobs," which allows country stars to step back into the life they lived before making it big.
And on Thursday the former athlete suited up to show off his skills by running the bases and perfecting his swing at the Braves' hometown stadium of Turner Field in Georgia.
Posts on the team's official Twitter website read, "@Jason_Aldean visiting #BravesSpringTraining. @Jason_Aldean getting some tips from (players) Chipper Jones and David Ross. Chipper and @Jason_Aldean signing for some fans. Day in the life of a Braves player."
Aldean received his own cap, cleats and uniform for his day at the ballpark.
The singer's episode is set to air in America on April 4.
