It must have been pretty easy to sell this film to movie studios. "James Franco and Seth Rogen head to North Korea to assassinate Kim Jong Un. Hilarity ensues." Now we have our first peek at the upcoming comedy The Interview thanks to a new trailer.

The Interview follows Dave Skylark (James Franco), who hosts a tabloid TV show Skylark Tonight. When he is informed North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un watches his show, he lands an interview with Kim and is subsequently drafted by the CIA to assassinate him. Now Skylark and his producer Aaron Rapoport (Seth Rogen) are left with high tech gadgets and no training for a scenario that makes the Bay of Pigs Invasion sound like a good idea.

Childhood friends Evan Goldberg and Rogen will be directing, writing and producing the film. The two also worked together on Neighbors, This Is the End, Pineapple Express, Superbad, and Knocked Up.

Franco and Rogen will also be joined by fellow Freaks and Geeks alum Lizzy Caplan, who appears to be playing some sort of CIA role.

With the explosions, action, and ridiculous comedy, it appears The Interview is a perfect follow-up to Pineapple Express.
