Jennifer Lopez was scheduled to perform at the opening of India's Premier League next week, but it was reportedly canceled due to the pop star's diva like demands.

According to the Sun online, Lopez, 43, reportedly insisted on a private plane and dozens of hotel rooms for her enormous entourage, including her own stylists, assistants and chef for the show.

A source claimed: "The demands were outrageous. She effectively priced herself out of the event. It was idiotic because the audience for this event is huge."

A Lopez spokesperson claims the singer turned down the show because she is busy recording an album. The album will include rapper/singer Future and Chris Brown. Her last studio album was released 2 years ago.  This will be Lopez's first album since leaving "American Idol."

Rapper Pitbull has replaced Lopez at the April 2 event in Kolkata, which will also feature performances by Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
