Christopher Nolan's Inception is leading the way at the upcoming Saturn Awards - garnering nine nominations.
The thriller is up for the best sci-fi film honor, competing against Hereafter, Iron Man 2, Never Let Me Go, Splice and Tron: Legacy.
Leonardo DiCaprio is a double nominee in the best actor category for both Inception and Shutter Island, and will go up against George Clooney (The American), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man 2) and Ryan Reynolds (Buried). His Inception co-stars Ellen Page and Tom Hardy will also fight for top acting trophies.
Let Me In and Tron: Legacy are the other major contenders after scoring seven nominations each for the prize giving, which is hosted by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror.
In the TV categories, zombie apocalypse show The Walking Dead leads with six nominations, while Breaking Bad, Lost and Fringe score five.
The 37th annual Saturn Awards are due to take place in Burbank, California in June.
