Derek Krahn was recording a webcast for the Center for Animal Research and Education in Bridgeport, Texas when his cat "Baggy" decided that it would be a good idea to test its bravery with a lioness named Noey.
Baggy obviously knew that Noey was in a cage and could not be eaten as the cat was relentless with its taunts of the much larger cat.
Krahn was apparently taken aback with Baggy's courage as he yells several times to try to get the cat to think twice before messing with Noey.
"Oh, my gosh," Krahn nervously says in the video, "Baggy, you will lose."
Baggy lunges several times toward Noey, and follows with a few dynamic poses, but fails to intimidate the lion.
"Baggy, abort!" Krahn laughingly yells. "There's nothing to be gained, Baggy!"
Baggy must have felt satisfied by her performance with Noey, as she eventually leaves her alone.
After the incident, Noey looked like she too enjoyed the excitement and was happy to have made a new friend.
"Baggy the housemeow has always been a tough little cookie, but I never thought she was this degree of crazy. All is well, everything settled, and her & Noey (the lion) are back on speaking terms," Krahn wrote in the video description.
