'Hereafter' Review: 'Two Jews On Film' Don't Agree On Clint Eastwood's Take
"Hereafter" directed by Clint Eastwood centers on three people touched by death...Matt Damon, is a reluctant psychic who communicates with dead people, Cecile De France, a woman who has a near death experience when a tsunami hits her vacation resort and George McLaren a London school boy, who loses his twin brother in a freak accident. If you are expecting a scary supernatural thriller, you will be disappointed. The film written by Peter Morgan (The Queen and Frost Nixon) is slow, ponderous, and in our opinion, poorly structured. 'Hereafter' is not a bagel worthy film. Opens Friday, October 15, 2010.
