Actress Heather Locklear was hospitalized in California on Thursday after medics received an emergency call from her home.
Locklear's sister reportedly dialed 911 from the Melrose Place star's property near Los Angeles, and the actress was taken to Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center by ambulance.
Ventura County Sheriff's Captain Mike Aranda tells People.com, "Emergency response personnel responded to a medical emergency call at Ms. Locklear's residence. Once they arrived, it was determined that Ms. Locklear needed to be transported to the hospital for further medical attention. (Medical staff are) taking care of her situation."
No further details about what caused the emergency had been confirmed as WENN went to press, but her parents released a statement regarding their daughter.
Bill and Diane Locklear declared, "She is in no danger and she's going to be just fine."
