George Michael Hospitalized With Pneumonia
Singer George Michael has been hospitalized in Austria with pneumonia.
The "Careless Whisper" hitmaker was admitted to a medical center in Vienna on Wednesday, just hours after his representatives announced the cancellation of some upcoming dates on his Symphonica tour to allow him time to fight the respiratory illness.
Spokeswoman Connie Filippello says Michael has been "diagnosed with pneumonia and he is currently receiving treatment."
The British star, 48, was due to perform a gig in Vienna on Monday, but pulled out of the concert just two hours before showtime.
