KEYBOARD ONLY

ALL PHASES OF THE GAME

Arrow Keys = move your player

S + G Key = flip play at the line

G Key = play art

A Key = coach's cam

S + S, D, F, W or R Key = call an audible before the snap

E Key = cancel the audible

S + A Key = reset original play after calling an audible

Space Bar or Esc Key = pause

T Key = call timeout

OFFENSE

BEFORE THE SNAP

D Key = snap ball

Left Shift Key + Left or Right Arrow = switch direction of a running play

G Key (+ receiver icon) + Left Shift Key + Arrow Keys = change primary receiver's route on a passing play

E Key (+ receiver key) + Up Arrow = hot route fly pattern

E Key (+ receiver key) + Down Arrow = hot route curl patter

E Key (+ receiver key) + Left or Right Arrow = hot route in or out patter

E Key (+ receiver key) + Left Shift Key + Down Arrow = run a smart route

E Key (+ receiver key) + A or G Key = left or right slant pattern

Up or Down Arrow + Left or Right Arrow = send a player in motion

W Key + Up Arrow = spread the offensive line

W Key + Down Arrow = pinch the offensive line

W Key + Left or Right Arrow = shift blocking left or right

R + Arrow Key = formation shift

E Key (+ running back or tight end key) + A or G Key = change blocking assignment for backs or tight ends

RUNNING WITH THE BALL

D Key = sprint

Left Shift Key + Up Arrow = truck stick

E Key = cover up or protect ball

F Key = spin

W or R Key = juke left or right

Left Shift Key + Down Arrow = juke backward

A or G Key = stiff arm left or right

PASSING / RECEIVING

Left Shift Key + Left or Right Arrow = QB vision control

G Key (+ receiver key) = lock on t receiver

Arrow Keys (+ receiver key) = precision passing

S, E, F, W or R Key = throw the ball

Left Ctrl + Left Shift Key + Arrow Keys = activate playmaker passing to guide closest receiver

A Key (tap) = throw ball away

D Key = QB scramble behind the line

G Key = pump fake

F Key = control intended receiver

S Key = dive for pass

D Key = sprint

E Key = catch

AFTER THE PLAY

F Key (hold) = spike ball to stop the clock

W + R Key = instant replay

S Key (hold) = fake spike ball trick play

E Key (hold) = no huddle, hurry-up offense

DEFENSE

BEFORE THE SNAP

D or F Key + Arrow Keys = choose a player to control

Left Shift Key + Up Arrow = put linebackers and defensive lineman in a hook zone or DBs in a deep zone

Left Shift Key + Down Arrow = blitz

Left Shift Key + Down Arrow (twice) = QB contain blitz

Left Shift Key + Left Arrow = go into QB spy coverage

Left Shift Key + Right Arrow = play a flat zone

Left Shift Key + Right Arrow (twice) = play a curl zone

W Key + Arrow Keys + Up Arrow = spread the defensive ends outside the tackles

W Key + Arrow Keys + Down Arrow = move the line in tight between the tackles

W Key + Arrow Keys + Left or Right Arrow = shift the line left or right

W Key + Arrow Keys + W + A Key = reset the shift

W + Left Shift Key + Down Arrow = make line crash in

W + Left Shift Key + Up Arrow = make line rush the outside

W + Left Shift Key + Left or Right Arrow = make line crash left or right

R Key + Up or Down Arrow = spread linebackers out or move them in tight

R Key + Left or Right Arrow = shift linebackers left or right

R + R + A Key = reset the shift

R Key + Left Shift Key + Down Arrow = blitz all linebackers

R Key + Left Shift Key + Up Arrow = call off all linebacker blitzes and put them into hook zone

R Key + Left Shift Key + Left or Right Arrow = blitz the right or left outside linebacker

E Key + Left Shift Key + Arrow Keys = shift the safeties' zone coverage

E Key + Up or Down Arrow = put DBs into bump and run or loose coverage

E Key + Right Arrow = shift the safeties and linebackers into better position to cover their assigned man

E + A Key = reset coverage

E Key (+ offensive player key) + Up or Down Arrow = bump or play off the receiver

E Key (+ offensive player key) + Right Arrow = double team the receiver with the highlighted defender

AFTER THE SNAP

F Key = control player nearest to the ball

Left Shift Key + Arrow Key = unleash the hit stick

S Key = dive

D Key = sprint, shove blocker

E Key = jump, intercept, hands up

G or A Key = strip ball, rip

R Key = strafe, swim right

W Key = swat ball, swim left

KICKING GAME

Arrow Key = change kick direction or elevation

D Key = start kick meter, stop kick meter on the upswing, stop kick meter on the downswing

F Key = switch players

E Key = fair catch
