Les Claypool prodigy and breakout jam star Gabby La La -- an outrageously inventive musician of eclectic musicality and endearing charm -- hits the road with Morcheeba for a nationwide tour. Kicking off November 29 at Boston's Avalon Ballroom, the tour includes stops at major venues from NYC's Nokia Theatre to San Francisco's Fillmore. Morcheeba is touring in support of their latest album Antidote (click for review), which came out earlier this year.

Having just wrapped up a major run with Claypool, who collaborated on her debut album 'Be Careful What You Wish For...' (Prawn Song), Gabby La La continues to draw raves for her startlingly original style, pixie-voice, and "songs that reach for the childlike, with folky singsong melodies" according to the New York Times' Jon Pareles.

Describing herself as "a one-girl mini circus" to Time Out Chicago, Gabby La La -- who is only the second person to graduate from the prestigious Cal Arts with a degree in sitar performance -- was pegged as one of Billboard's up-and-coming artists to watch and hailed by the Associated Press for her "playful pop melodies sung with the eccentric, borderline creepy falsetto of a fairytale pixie."

Following the tour, Gabby La La will rejoin Les Claypool for his 6th annual New Year's Eve show -- Les Claypool's Hatter's Ball (complete with a most original hat contest) -- at the Fillmore in San Francisco, and then head out for multiple shows (solo and with Les) at the 4th annual Jam Cruise in January.
