French Montana Fan Gunned Down Near Rapper's Tour Bus
Rapper French Montana was caught up a bloody shooting on Thursday night when a gunman opened fire on a crowd close to the star's tour bus.
The hip-hop star performed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Thursday night and was onboard the bus when it parked up outside a Holiday Inn hotel in the city.
A group of fans following the bus were then caught up in a terrifying shooting in the parking lot as a gunman pulled up in a car and opened fire on the crowd. A 27-year-old man died after he was shot in the stomach, and another male was injured.
A police investigation has been launched and cops questioned the rapper and his entourage in the aftermath of the shooting.
French Montana, real name Karim Kharbouch, spoke to officers at a local police station and posted a picture of himself looking bored during questioning on his Twitter.com page with the caption, "Nobody got time for this s**t."
Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey spoke out about the shooting and vowed to catch those responsible, telling NBCPhiladelphia.com, "It's just ignorant. You fire into a crowd and you're gonna hit somebody. In this case, unfortunately, someone was killed. (I) don't know if they had anything to do with anything, if they were a fan or what... That kind of behavior's just unacceptable."
