No offence but they obviously want to make it a special thing, and I say why not. Surely there's no age up to which you have to show no imagination kinda thing? But it all depends on what kind of thing him/her are into, I suppose.... |

I mean, the kids your friends with now, you probably won't be friends with in high school.. I don't know maybe thats just my thoughts on this. But yeah if you really wanna do it, go for it. |

I will try and help you tell me is this going to be a girl boy party and will there be chaperons?
Don't get angry I'm just trying to think of a cool theme that may include a dance floor. Tell me some of your favorite things. What kind of space do you have for the party. Is it cold where you live? If there is an amusement park near by you could have your party there if they are open and it's not cold where you live.

So am I, but I was trying to say that some friends go to different high schools, and you may lose touch with them, or not be as close. Or whatever. |

Here's a couple of ideals You could have a masquerade or costume party it would be kinda cool. You could give a small prize to the person wearing the most original costume. You could have a dance floor and play c.d's and have a table full of snacks. You could also have a Pinata stuffed full of assorted candy. It probably wouldn't cost alot to do this. One thing for sure if you had a costume or masquerade party it wouldn't be the same as everyone else When I was a kid and had my 13th birthday party my mother made us play Twister and Pin The Tail On The Donkey  |
