people cry about their songs but not because they suck. Many people lost loved ones to suicide or even tried to commit it so before you post something horrendous like that think. You just might hurt someone.

Eww... I'm sorry who ever the heck you are....... But I'm going to have to side with Stumbleine. You may think that Good Charlotte has helped many people. But in reality their just making things worse.. It's a horrible song made for pestimists such as little grade 6-7 kids who haven't felt true pain in aday of their lives, who think they have their life bad, and everythings horrible in their lives.....When in fact their just being dramatic thinking their life sucks. Maybe one of these days little brats like that will realize the true suiside or pain of life is staying alive, and being around when it seems everything is going wrong. Don't even start with me about the whole "Friends lost" Everyone has lost something.. Or someone in this case.. But it doesn't mean you should be down in the dumps over a song that influences suiside.. Ex. And I'm sorry if your friend commits suiside.but that just shows that you weren't a very good friend to begin with. Because if you were a good friend you would have had some help in the non-killing self mood of your friend... It's because in todays society people don't approach those who seem, to be sad or depressed.. And theres a reason.. The fear of the freak.. And Good Charlotte just proves that todays music has gone to hell.... All those boy and girl bands thinking their all that when they really just need a f*ucking music reality cheak... As I said before this song just makes you realize all your problems in your life, and makes you want to commit suiside even more! There for just because at the end of the crapy #@$%#$ video it shows the help phone line? HOW IS THAT HELPING? If your about to kill yourself you don't have #@$%#$ time to call someone you don't know! like wtf! think about it... IF your going to kill yourself your going to kill yourself.. Which usually means you have nothing to live for so how will someone you never met before going to talk you into thinking you have something to live for.. When in reality.. They don't know you.. They don't know your situation! They know NOTHING! And in this case.. The Kids Help Phone line shouldn't be at the end of this video... It helps no one but those who will actually listen to GC #@$%#$. And trust me if you listen to that music #@$%#$ you have it in to begin with, and your way beyond help! Theres many other happy influencial musical lyrics that has the same topic and still encourages younge teens to call or ask for help! "hold On" by good charlotte just doesn't seem influencial or make someone want to hold on if your actually on the verge of killing yourself. Bands such as Sum 41 or Jimmy Eat world with their Help Phone Songs.. Should get more reginition.. For they actually shed some light on the situation.. When GC Is just a sad pethedic excuss for a band who feels bad for stealing the youngstirs money so they think that they are all in tune with children these days because they put a Help Phone? On a Horrible song? Wow.... You must be blinded..... But meh.. It's just my opinion *cough* the right one!

It has it helped me. I was planning to kill myself one time. My life was horrid. Try getting abused by a parent for your whole life.The phone line actually does help, i talked to them. I found the video the best way to express the song. Benji knows about suicide he tried to commit or thought of it.
A SERIOUS suicidal person would go and commit suicide, not #@$%#$ whine about it so they get all the damn attention and then be "persuade" to not do it.. thats not the way. If you're gonna commit suicide, you'd do it, not needing anyone's opinion etc. Especially watch tv and look for songs that will make you feel better. I'm afraid everyone in today's society is mistaking the true "suicidal" person. As horrible as your situation sounds, it's not suicide worthy. I would seek help. But aside from that, who would actually look at a video and wait until the end to see the help phone line then decide not to pull the trigger? I wish people would just STOP with the false suicide crap. No one cares.. if you're really suicidal.. go do it. I'm not promoting suicide, I'm just saying, if you feel like you have no goal/inspiration/point in life.. etc.. then there's probably no point on living. Especially if you are going to be a whiney little #@$%#$ about it. This does NOT mean I'm promoting it. Just saying go do whats best.

You guys think that gc hurts well they dont.I almost commited suicide in my room.The radio was on and then I heard Hold On and Im still alive.AND Im in 7th grade.I was in 6th when I tried to commit suicide so gc saved my life.Ive also lost family AND friends to suicide.So BACK OFF OF GC!!!

Actually, they do do it for the money.. I mean, come on, if they wanted to help out people they would do it some other way - not writing a terrible song with #@#%$ lyrics and than releasing it. They want their fans to believe they made a song for them, or multiple songs so that their fans will believe it (like yourself) and buy their records because they "truly" care about their fans........ wallets.
