I used to breed many species of snakes, can't do that here, but it was interesting to say the least. I get why people are scared of snakes, and spiders, they just don't know, or cannot identify, the different kinds in sight. Like a friend of mine who was convinced my anacondas were venomous and would not touch them. (In her case just as well, they have a nasty temperament, not to mention a nasty chewing bite.)

This is one snake I never ever want to meet:

Thankfully it's in Aus, LOL!
Anacondas nasty ripper.one of my friend used to have all these
Different type of Species,Not only Snake but Spider and Scorpion too.

Inland Taipan-Beautiful Beast....It’s the most poisonous snake in the world

One of the most murderess Species.

Friend of mine worked for the UN in Iraq, he reckons the stories about the camel spiders was more scare tactics than anything else, the stories about them eating flesh etc was way overrated, he laughed when he heard those, they have a nasty bite but definitely don't eat pieces of human flesh etc as some of the stories would have one believe.
I still would not like to run into them. The story of them chasing one has a simple explanation - they are seeking shade from the sun, it gets really really hot in the deserts....

Apparently it's incredibly territorial, and if you're in it's area, it will come to find you - not sure if that if fact or myth tho.
Did you know that the black mamba mates for life? And if you kill the mate, better make sure you're incredibly far away because that snake will come to you and repay your killing of the mate? People think that's fiction, but you only have to listen to hunters and the local Africans to know that it's actuyally true.
