Torchwood - does anyone on here watch it?

I cant seem to find anyone else on here who really knows what this is, but I love it! The most recent episodes have been brilliant, what with the addition of Martha and what happened to Owen... did anyone else see next week's episode on BBC3? All I can say to that ep. is... wow!

I watched the first Season, and tbh I thought it was total rubbish.

They marketed it as an adult sci-fi drama in the style of the X-Files, which is an insult to the X-Files which was actually gripping, intelligent TV. Note to producers: constant gore and sex scenes DOES NOT make "mature" drama, it makes adolescent garbage.

The scripts are terrible, the characters quite two dimensional and the stories are paper thin.

I absolutly love torchwood, it is great. They have come up with some really good story lines and i think when Gwen Cooper became pregnant from that alien and the whole of that series was great. The whole program has a mysterious kinda feel to it with that extra drama thrown in.
