Assuming thinking with your "heart" means off of the emotional response to whatever circumstance in which you are thinking upon {thinking about, meaning the way in which you perceive and evaluate something. It does not necessarily require a decision as some of you are stating}. Assuming with your "head" is through logic and rational reasoning. Obviously, if you are human, emotion will account in the formulation but to base your point of view on any given subject matter solely on how it makes you feel, would be foolish. That is how people cheat on their significant other and feel it to be justified or an extreme being how otherwise intelligent people get conned or wrapped up into cults.
On anything, it should be addressed logically. An effort should be made to collect credible facts to give you the proper premise in which to analyze whatever. Emotions have their purpose, and they should be felt with sincerity but it should never be the basis of a decision (large or small) or how you stand on a particular topic. It is a much more responsible and effective way in which to live.
