She is in mourning following the tragic death of her brother-in-law, according to a new report.

Joseph Jeffrey Fretti, the husband of her eldest sister Tamera, was found dead on April 12th in his mother Shirley's home in Sarasota, Florida. He was 48. A cause of death has yet to be determined but medical examiner Russell Vega tells RadarOnline.com that foul play or suicide is unlikely.

Fretti, the owner of a funeral home in Toledo, Ohio, had taken his two children to visit their grandmother. Tamera did not accompany her husband on the trip but has since flown to Florida to bring the kids back to the family home in Ohio.

She is expected to attend a funeral for Fretti in Toledo's Gesu Church on April 20th.

She has donned her dancing shoes to film a cameo for the finale of hit U.S. talent show So You Think You Can Dance.

She has been dogged with rumours about her involvement with the series after it emerged she was taking secret dance lessons and had met with the programme's producer Nigel Lythgoe.

And now sources on-set confirm she is set to appear on the show after filming a cameo segment earlier this week.

An insider tells E! Online, "It taped last week. It's going to be on the finale. It's a Broadway does Hollywood number. It opens on a Broadway stage and then she walks into a Hollywood studio."

And she dazzled everyone on set with her skills.

The source adds, "She was amazing. She was such a pro. Her legs are in great shape. She's got a hat and a cane and she's wearing a leotard and tights."

The season finale airs on August 6.

She has teamed up with Hairspray director Adam Shankman and reality TV guru Nigel Lythgoe to launch a dance scholarship fund.

She who is set to appear on Lythgoe's show So You Think You Can Dance later this month, has joined forces with the pair and Dancing With The Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba to set up the Dizzy Feet Foundation.

The scholarship organization gives underprivileged youngsters the opportunity to take part in dance programs and win grants to enroll in accredited dance studios, reports Daily Variety.

She says, "I think it's important for children to experience music and dance. Every child should have the opportunity to discover what it is they like and have access to the very best in that pursuit."

She will show off her moves on the dance floor during a special 100th episode of So You Think You Can Dance on July 23rd, in which she will perform a tribute to Judy Garland.
