She has stepped in to quash rumors she has revived her romance with ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas - insisting they are just "best friends".

Speculation about the former couple - who split in 2007 - began to brew earlier this month when she teamed up with the Jonas Brothers to record a new song. She currently dating model/singer Justin Gaston, was subsequently spotted enjoying a lunch date with her ex - sending internet gossips into a frenzy.

However she is adamant she is not reviving her relationship with Jonas, insisting they have just remained good pals since the split.

She says, "We aren't back together. I don't think people know how to make an ex-boyfriend into a best friend and it seems impossible. But when you have known each other as long as we have - we did have such a great relationship. Even he has said, 'We don't know what will happen in the future but for right now, we know we are best friends.'"

She donned her running shoes for good causes this weekend - the teen was among stars who joined in a charity event to raise money for cancer research.

She kicked off the Revlon Run/Walk for Women in Los Angeles on Saturday, which saw 50,000 participants come together to take part in the event.

She who joined in with her mom Tish, told the crowd, "Think of all the money that you've raised by working together. And you guys have been doing it 16 years, that's as old as me. So this is pretty amazing, to have a foundation that has been working for so long and just as many people are here. The Revlon Run/Walk is seriously amazing, so make sure you guys keep it up. We'll keep it going no matter how long it takes until all of our sisters are safe from these cancers."

She has blasted critics of her weight, branding them "hateful" bullies. Pictures of her looking shapely in a bikini on vacation in the Bahamas attracted negative remarks when they hit the web earlier this week.

She took to her personal Twitter page to hit back at people who had criticized her weight, insisting she is just a "normal girl" - and blamed the gossips for encouraging online cyber bullying.

She writes, "Talk all you want. I have my flaws. I'm a normal girl (sic) theres things about my body I would change but stop with calling me f*t in post. I dont even like the word. Those remarks that you hateful people use are fighting words. The ones that scar people and cause them to do damage to themselves or others.

"People that are so okay with being so hateful disgust me and need to spend last time on a gossip website and more time a. reading your bible b. reading stories/articles about what happens when cyber abuse and name calling happens. Kids hurt themselves."

And she is hopeful her healthy figure can help others feel confident about their body. Cyrus adds, "This is not something to be taken lightly. I know these "message boards" are "no big deal" to YOU but (it) is to the victim. This has got to stop!!! Oh and ps if your thighs don't jiggle go see a doctor. Thanks."

She is collaborating with fashion guru Max Azria for her line she & Max Azria, which will be stocked exclusively in Wal-Mart stores across America from August.

Items in the range will include pants , T-shirts, shoes and accessories and every piece will be priced under $20.

She says, "I love creating looks that are all about personal expression and individuality. Collaborating with Max Azria has been an amazing experience, and I'm really excited about launching this line with Wal-Mart. There's even more to come!"

Hundreds of her fans are outraged after an online ticket reseller overcharged for seats at her upcoming New York concerts.

Bosses at Ticketmaster.com posted an incorrect seating chart for Long Island's Nassau Coliseum - where she will play her only New York shows on November 18th and 19th - when tickets went up for sale on Monday. In addition to ticket costs, members of the singer's fan club paid $30 for a password and a 12-hour head start at 10am local time to get the best seats.

The correct chart was posted over three hours later, after hundreds of tickets had already been sold, many of them overvalued due to the discrepancy, reports the New York Daily News. Tickets to her concerts at the Coliseum in 2007 hit a snag when presale tickets instantly sold out. Scalped tickets later went for as high as $1,500.

Nassau Coliseum spokesperson Adam Ellis admits "an apology is in order" for overcharged fans, but has asked those who purchased seats to consider her high-demand. He adds, "Everybody who got floor tickets to her is pretty lucky at this point."

Ticketmaster spokeswoman Hannah Kampf did not return requests for a comment about the glitch.

The botched sale comes just months after Ticketmaster bosses issued an apology to Bruce Springsteen fans, who were redirected to the company's resale site for tickets to his current tour, where their only option was to buy tickets from scalpers at heavily-inflated prices.
