There are several of them. The discovery of anesthesia, x - rays, polio vaccine and penicillin are a number of very important discoveries/inventions.

Of all the classes of men, I dislike most those who make their livings by talking—actors, clergymen, politicians, pedagogues, and so on. All of them participate in the shallow false pretenses of the actor who is their archetype. It is almost impossible to imagine a talker who sticks to the facts. Carried away by the sound of his own voice and the applause of the groundlings, he makes inevitably the jump from logic to mere rhetoric. Henry Lewis Mencken - Pasted below are three videos for the songs
“Rosalita,”  "The Promised Land" and, my theme song, "It's Hard To Be A Saint In The City," sung by New Jersey's native son and my incomparable favorite rock singer Bruce Springsteen.             Neil Peart animation                                                  rush my favorite canadian band

The last two videos are called “Tunnel Of Love” sung by Bruce Springsteen and the live version of “Talk To Me” sung by the ever illustrious and another one of New Jersey’s native sons Southside Johnny Lyon and his band The Asbury Jukes. Also, pasted below Southside Johnny’s song are two gorgeous goddesses. The photo on the left is the lovely Ms. Alicia Keys and the photo on the right is the beautiful Laura Harring, who starred in the movie “Mulholland Drive.” Enjoy.                         Tunnel of Love
A Very Gorgeous And Lovely Brunette Angel / Actress  I  Love unconditionally and ecstatically with David Lynch, director of Eraserhead.
