The Chancellor Manuscript (2008) (announced) .... Peter Chancellor
The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt (2008) (announced) (attached) .... Theodore Roosevelt
Body of Lies (2008) (pre-production) .... Roger Ferris
Revolutionary Road (2008) (filming) .... Frank Wheeler

Glad he's coming back into movies, he had almost vanished for a while there.

WHAT WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? LEONARDO IS TOO HOT AND TOO GOOD OF A ACTOR. HE HAS A GOOD HEART AND HE HAS DONE MORE THAN JUST GOOD IN ALL HIS MOVIES. HE'S SEXY AND TALENTED. BY THE WAY EVERYBODY AGES IN CASE YA'LL DIDN'T KNOW. NO ONE CAN STAY THE SAME NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO. I THINK NOW HE LOOKS SEXY AS A MAN IN HIS 30'S AND THEN HE LOOKED SEXY AS A MAN IN HIS 20'S.[/s][/s]

I bought the movie, "Catch Me If You Can," looking forward to excitement, but almost fell asleep.   Wishing to get my money's worth before giving the movie away, I watched all of the 2nd CD (interviews with cast, etc.)  That's where I learned why this movie was not exciting.

Apparently, they did at least six or seven takes for every scene.  But, the real-life character this movie is about - he didn't have that luxury.  He had to act quick, extemporaneous, impulsive.

AAlso, I mean, how long are they going to show Robert Sheen bumping his hip in the kitchen with the wife.  There was just too much linking of the family detail to try to explain everything.  They should re-release the movie after axing the 2nd & 3rd retelling of the mouse story and 2/3 of the family stuff that supposedly explains the movie or "makes it less episodic."

They should start that movie off with the kid pretending to be the substitute teacher, then backtrack to the family briefly, then to divorce court.  They shouldn't show the father again after that, except for when Christopher Walken cries and relives that story again about meeting his wife.  Please, don't keep telling that damn story, sheesh!  We don't need to know it that well.

Hacking it up could work, or you might just have to do it all over, but for goodness sake, do it with just one take.  You don't have to have perfect acting, you just need to entertain, and the character's story is so compelling and action packed, I was shocked anyone could manage to make it appear so boring.  Shall I repeat this ad infinitum?  Sheesh!

By doing one take only, the actors will reflect the same tension and desperate angst that the real life character did.

They should hack that movie up, cut time from every single bored lifeless scene, and also, if possible, try to sharpen the dang thing instead of having everyone have to watch the movie through, as it were, "golden showers,"  A computer whiz could fix that.  Please, take my advice & rerelease that movie as a true honor to the excitement & daring & "chutzpa" of the real life character.

Thank you!

p.s.:  cut that damn thing up, and next time:  1 take only!!!!
