Miss Congeniality 2 is not so great.Is almost childish.But the first was great.

A woman has been placed on three years of probation following her guilty plea to a misdemeanor charge of stalking her.

A felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon was dropped against Marcia Valentine, 47, after she entered her guilty plea to stalking on Nov. 5, according to the Orange County Superior Court Web site.

She obtained a restraining order in May 2007 barring Valentine from contacting her or coming near her home, family or work for three years.

She testified in court that on five occasions Valentine left in her yard palm fronds adorned with "weird signs" and "pieces of animal fur."

She testified that after Valentine was spotted April 22, 2007, outside her home in Sunset Beach, her husband, Jesse James, went outside and tried to write down the woman's license plate.

She said Valentine screamed obscenities and twice tried to run over James with her silver Mercedes-Benz. James, host of TV's "Monster Garage," was not hurt.

Valentine was arrested the next day by sheriff's deputies while driving in the area.

She is playing full-time mother to her five-year-old stepdaughter Sunny, because her husband Jesse James' ex-wife is behind bars. Porn star Janine Lindemulder, Sunny's birth mother, has been sentenced to serve six months in federal prison after she was found guilty of failing to pay more than $200,000 in income tax.

And, when she is released, she must spend a further spell living in a residential community corrections center.

Celebrity mechanic James has been handed full custody of Sunny while Lindemulder is in prison, and could appeal to become her permanent full-time carer.

Sources tell the National Enquirer she is desperate to be a mom, and she's thrilled to get the chance to try motherhood with Sunny, who was born after James and Lindemulder split, and he began dating the actress.

The insider says, "This is a dream come true for her, but it's Janine's worst nightmare. Janine is worried that, while she's in prison, Jesse will file another motion with the court to gain permanent full custody. She loves Sunny like her own flesh and blood, and will completely support Jesse if he chooses to fight for full custody."

She was inducted Friday into a New Orleans high school's "Hall of Fame" after donating tens of thousands toward rebuilding the public school heavily flooded by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

She took the auditorium stage at Warren Easton High School to a standing ovation from about 300 people. She said she couldn't take all the credit for renovations after the school suffered $4 million in damages from nearly 10 feet of floodwater from the storm. "I just write the checks," she said, adding she "rides the coattails of people who do amazing things."

Her portrait - drawn in crayon by her 5-year-old stepdaughter Sunny - was added to a school hallway alongside dozens of portraits of alumni who went on to become famous musicians, sports stars, judges and doctors. The exact amount of her donation hasn't been made public. But she called it "the best investment I ever made."

In an interview, She said she was "embarrassed" by the federal government's slow response after Katrina and felt compelled to help however she could. Her donation helped fund scholarships, new band uniforms and renovations of the school auditorium. She said providing for new band uniforms was important because of New Orleans' rich music history. School graduates include jazz clarinetist Pete Fountain, also in the hall of fame. "It's not just reading, writing and arithmetic," she said. "Where's the joy in life? In New Orleans, it's in music."

She has visited the school many times since Katrina. Warren Easton, a predominantly black inner city school, dates its origins to 1844 as one of Louisiana's oldest public schools. She was joined Friday by her husband, celebrity motorcycle builder Jesse James, and James' daughter Sunny.

Besides charity work, She has been busy with her movie career. Her romantic comedy "The Proposal," costarring Ryan Reynolds, is due in theaters in June. She is producing and starring in the comedy "All About Steve," which is expected to be released later this year. And she is currently filming the drama "The Blind Side" in Atlanta.

She has hit out as reporters who insist on badgering stars about rumored pregnancies - insisting their prying questions are insensitive to infertile women.

She became step-mother to husband Jesse James' three children when the couple married in 2005, and she is outraged reporters won't stop asking when they will have kids of their own.

She tells Harper's Bazaar magazine, "You don't have to give birth to someone to have a family. We're all family, an extended family. I'm not going to spend two seconds of my life wishing I had something I don't. It's hard to do it your way when you hear everyone else telling you to do it their way.

"I reamed out this idiot girl at some premiere once about this. I had just been talking to a friend who couldn't conceive, and I saw her pain. And this girl says, 'Are you pregnant?' I went off on her. What if I couldn't have kids? Do you know what that would make me feel like? I just want people to admit that there's no one way to live your life. Of course, I don't know what's going to happen."

"I wasn't blessed in the upstairs department (but) baby was given some back at birth. Didn't know what to do with it at first, but it's just what I got... I've got great boobs. I love my boobs. They're just not a triple D. I know what to do with them. I wouldn't know what to do with a triple D. They would have a mind of their own. I might be in a different kind of line of business." She is happy with her breasts.

She stars in the romantic comedy The Proposal, as a Canadian immigrant who creates a demanding and difficult work environment for her subordinates at the office. When the news arrives that she's about to be deported to the Great White North, she rushes into a marriage of convenience with her young assistant (played by Ryan Reynolds) to prevent such a catastrophe from occurring.

In her new movie, The Proposal, she plays a harsh boss, Devil Wears Prada style. That, she says, is closer to the real her. "I am a #@$%#$. I am a horrible, evil #@$%#$ but I'm a good actress and I can act like a really sweet person. Everyone has it in them. It's such a joy to be able to play someone who is angry. It's a joy and a relief. Having to be nice all the time is exhausting and boring, but to play someone who just has that under layer of unhappiness, you know that it comes from someplace. There's a crack in the veneer."

Not only is she a meanie, but she's become a method actor too. "I said for three months that I could be a #@$%#$ and people were like, 'Why are being that way?' I said, 'It's my character. I'm in character. I don't have to apologize for being this way.' I take it home with me. I'm a #@$%#$ because I'm working as a #@$%#$. It was pure heaven. I love it. We all have it in us. It's who I am. No, people who do comedy really are the nastiest people on the planet."

The Proposal opens Friday.

She has hit out at the poor standard of romantic comedy films, insisting her turn in Two Weeks Notice was the pinnacle of the genre.

She has starred in a string of rom-coms throughout her 22 year long career including Miss Congeniality, which saw her play a cop-turned-beauty-queen and fantasy film Practical Magic.

But she is convinced the 2002 movie, in which she starred alongside Hugh Grant, spelled the end of the genre - because the quality of the movies made now is "crap".

She says, "They're not funny, they're not romantic, they're not written well for women anymore. It was basically all crap. I did the last good one. I'm done."

She feared her close friendship with pal Ryan Reynolds would be destroyed after they stripped naked together for a scene in The Proposal.

She has known Reynolds for nine years and the pair has enjoyed holidays together with her husband Jesse James and Reynolds' wife Scarlett Johansson.

Their close partnership was put to the test when they were forced to bare all in a sex scene for their new movie.

Shooting lasted three days - but she insists filming the scene with such a close friend helped her make it more convincing.

She tells WENN, "You know, when I read it, it read hilariously... we knew we had to be true to it, we didn't pretend to shoot naked because, like, when you see someone get out of a bed with a sheet... you go 'it's a sheet!' So we knew that in order for it to be truly funny we had to do it naked and it was three days of stunts - it was virtually naked stunt work. But I did it with a friend and he was very protective over me, and I of him, and thankfully our friendship left stronger and not destroyed... as it could have been."
