Firefighters were called to Tyler Perry's movie studio in Atlanta, Georgia after a major blaze broke out there on Tuesday night.
Atlanta's emergency services rushed to tackle the fire at the huge complex, which includes a back lot, a 400-seat theatre, five sound stages and a gym, in the southwest area of the city.
More than 100 firefighters attended the scene and the flames were eventually extinguished, but the studio was left severely damaged, with part of building collapsing.
Atlanta Fire Department spokesman Captain Jolyon Bundrige tells CNN there has been no report of any injuries.
A statement from the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department, reads, "This evening at 8:41 pm, the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department responded to a reported structure fire at Tyler Perry Studios... The response was immediately upgraded... due to the fire conditions, size, type, and location of the structure."
"An initial report of a partial collapse was limited to the fascia of the affected building, which is located in the centre of the lot. The structural integrity of the building was not compromised. (The) fire was brought under control after only an hour of crews working on scene."
The cause of the fire was not known as WENN went to press.
