Fans of suspended TV sitcom Two And A Half Men would rather see the show canceled than to see Charlie Sheen's return, according to a shocking new poll.
More than 20,000 TV viewers took part in the TVGuide.com poll with 51 per cent of respondents calling for CBS network executives to axe the programme altogether in light of Sheen's increasingly erratic behavior.
The remaining eight episodes of the show's current eighth season were scrapped last week following Sheen's radio attack on Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre.
The series was suspended at the end of January to allow the troubled actor to seek help for an ongoing substance abuse problem and work on the program has not resumed.
Sheen has blasted Lorre and the producers of the show for canceling the season, accusing them of not caring about the cast and crew.
But fans of the show don't want to see Sheen return as Charlie Harper, suggesting that if the show was to return for a ninth season, John Stamos should replace him.
More than 30 per cent of respondents liked that idea, while only 19 per cent revealed they'd continue to watch the show if Sheen returned.
