Emma Stone Tapped To Replace Michelle Williams In Broadway's 'Cabaret'
Emma Stone is in talks to play Sally Bowles in the hit Broadway musical "Cabaret." The actress is the frontrunner to replace Michelle Williams when she leaves the production, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Williams made her Broadway debut in the Roundabout Theatre Company's show, which also stars Alan Cumming. She will play the role until Nov. 9.
Jane Horrocks and Natasha Richardson have also played Bowles in directors' Sam Mendes and Rob Marshall's revival of the 1966 Cander and Ebb musical.
Stone is known for her roles in films including "The Amazing Spider-Man," "The Help" and "Easy A." She is also working on several upcoming movies, including "The Croods 2" and projects directed by Woody Allen and Cameron Crowe.
