Ex-wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne Johnson thrilled fans by reviving The Rock at a live wrestling match on Monday.
Johnson shot to fame as a professional wrestler but has turned his attentions to carving out a career in Hollywood in recent years with lead roles in The Scorpion King and Tooth Fairy.
However, he ended his hiatus from the wrestling world at a taping of the WWE's Monday Night Raw in Anaheim, California, where he received thunderous applause upon entering the arena. Stepping into the ring, The Rock sent fans into a frenzy as he delivered his trademark catchphrase, "Can you smell what The Rock is cooking?"
He then announced, "I am back in the middle of this ring because of you. Thank you, I love you and it is because of you that I am back in this ring. I give you my word, I am never, ever going away. Simply put, ladies and gentlemen, The Rock is back."
The wrestling legend has signed up to host WrestleMania on April 3rd in Atlanta, Georgia, but it is unknown whether he will compete in any matches.
