You’re not scared of a little straw and overalls, are you?  Then follow us as we check out the new to DVD SyFy flick "Scarecrow" out now from Cinedigm Entertainment.  We review the effectiveness of the straw guy with crows and humans below!

   Title: "Scarecrow"

   Grade: 3

Cast: Lacey Chabert, Robin Dunne, Iain Belcher

   Director: Sheldon Wilson

   Rating: Not Rated

   Runtime: 86 minutes

   Release Company: Cinedigm Home Entertainment

The Flick: "Scarecrow" breaks no new ground in terms of being yet another caught in peril monster flick, but it also has all the required and expected attachments.  Requisite blood and gore (how about a little sans skin face in scream mode!), hottie lead Lacy Chabert in tight sexy undershirt (quickly give that bleeding to death guy your over-shirt!) and some cool deviant characters (stranded students are all serving detention!) all are present and accounted for.  There is some heinous monster CGI (think "The Mummy" with less personality!), but the film does deliver accordingly.

Best Feature: No Features – avoiding ownership seems to be a SyFy staple!

Best Hidden Gem: Kind of liked the creepy, nerdy and then heroic geek played by Iain Belcher.

Worth the Moola: Harmless and decent, Scarecrow gets the job done.
