'Due Date' Review: 'Two Jews On Film' Agree 'Due Date' Is No 'Hangover' (Video)
'Due Date' directed by Todd Phillips (Hangover) stars Robert Downey Jr and Zach Galifianakis as two unlikely companions thrown together on a road trip, that turns out to be as life-changing as it is outrageous. Downey plays Peter Highman, an expectant first time father whose wife's (Michelle Monaghan) due date is only days away. As he hurries to catch a flight home to Los Angeles from Atlanta, his chance encounter with aspiring actor and disaster-magnet Ethan Tremblay (Galifianakis) leads to the two of them being tossed off the plane and placed on a no-fly list. And that's where the fun begins. 'Due Date' isn't a laugh a minute, but ultimately it is a funny, and touching film. Also in the cast are Jamie Fox, as Downey's best friend, Juliet Lewis, who has the whole 'druggie' thing down pat and a really adorable French bull dog. The dog's masturbating scene is worth the price of admission alone. Opens in theaters Friday, November 5, 2010.
