Australian singer Dannii Minogue has quit The X Factor U.K. just days before the latest series is due to launch.
Minogue has been a judge on Simon Cowell's British talent show since 2007, but she has now resigned due to schedule clashes with her duties on Australia's Got Talent.
She explains, "I'm so disappointed that I can't be a part of The X Factor this year. I'm going to miss the show and the amazing team who work so incredibly hard on it.
"During discussions for me to return it became clear that, unfortunately, the audition dates in the U.K. clash with my live shows of Australia's Got Talent during June and July."
Auditions for the new season of The X Factor was due to begin filming on Wednesday but production has now been cancelled.
N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos is rumored to have been hired as Minogue's replacement.
