The show kicked off with an explosive encore performance, by classical week favorite, Maria and Derek. And during the evening we welcomed back season 14 favorite, Gavin Degraw, for a couple performances.

There was also a tear jerking and touching performance by a dancer whose life changed overnight due to a brain aneurysm, and an exciting ballroom battle that ended with Cheryl’s team receiving the winning trophy.

Despite the fact that someone would be sent home, the night was another great one. Here were the judges scores going into the elimination.

1. Katherine Jenkins & Mark Ballas- 217
2. Maria Menounos Derek Hough- 209
3. William Levy Cheryl Burke- 208
4. Donald Driver Peta Murgatroyd- 205
5. Roshon Fegan Chelsie Hightower-201
6. Jaleel White Kym Johnson- 199
7. Melissa Gilbert Maks Chmerkovskiy- 178

The results began with Donald, William and Katherine being called to the front, and all three of the top scoring dancers were saved. This wasn’t a big surprise to me since all of these stars are so amazing.

Next Maria, Melissa, Jaleel, and Roshon were all called up together for results, and as predicted Jaleel and Roshon were left to rumba in the final dance duel. The judges responses for the duel were as follow:

Carrie Ann said this is not easy. Side by side you were both great and showed extremely good chemistry. Len said to me the doom is cruel. These two couples came out and really gave their all. Bruno said Roshon much smoother and stronger. Jaleel strong and you corrected your arms. It’s gonna be a matter of taste.

So, who went home? Jaleel

The judges unanimously voted for Roshon and Jaleel was sent home. The former Family Matters star left the show with these words:

“I’m gonna tell you a secret. I didn’t think I would have made it this far and only wanted to get in three dances. So, to come this far is great. I made incredible friends, the fans are incredible. Len give Roshon a ten.”

I wasn't surprise that Jaleel was sent home, because out of him and Roshon, the Disney star is the better dancer. What do you think? Be sure to leave your thoughts down below.
