"Dallas" star Steve Kanaly considered taking horse-riding lessons before shooting his scenes for the show's relaunch, because he'd forgotten how to saddle-up since leaving the program in 1988.
The actor was frequently seen galloping on his mount and herding cows during his role as ranch foreman Ray Krebbs in the hit drama's original run.
He was signed up to reprise the role when "Dallas" relaunches later this year but feared he'd need to brush up his cowboy skills to avoid any embarrassing mishaps onset.
Kanaly tells UltimateDallas.com, "The last time I was on a horse I fell off and hurt myself. I had been riding all those years as well. I may have to take some more lessons so I don't fall off anymore."
