Claire Danes has been in therapy for 20 years. The stunning actress, who is dating 'Big Fish' star Billy Crudup, claims she enjoys getting psychological help - but admits it makes her more of an emotional person.

She confessed: "It's just a great resource. I don't keep a journal, so I go to therapy. I enjoy it and I get a lot out of it. Although, if I weren't in therapy, I'd probably be a lot more together. My therapist is always encouraging me to be a little sloppier and more honest and expressive."

Claire has revealed one of the main issues she discusses with her therapist is her fear of being alone. She told Gotham magazine: "It's hard for me to admit that I have needs - that's the big theme. I'm also really terrible at being alone. I confuse being alone with being lonely. I kind of panic when there isn't another person present. So I'm trying to panic less and learn that I'm not going to disappear if there's no 'witness.'"
