Singer Ciara was honored at a New York gala on Tuesday for raising awareness of teenage pregnancy.
The Goodies hit-maker has long supported The Candie's Foundation and took to the stage in Times Square to launch its National Teen Pregnancy Month, which aims to encourage American youngsters to use contraception.
And she was the guest of honor at Candie's evening event for her help in promoting the organization's pregnancy prevention message.
Elizabeth Berkley and Sarah Brown were also thanked for their dedication to the cause, while Aretha Franklin and Bruno Mars performed at the star-studded bash.
In a post on her Twitter.com page, Ciara writes, "Thank you again for the honor tonight Candies... I truly enjoyed myself! Bruno Mars was awesome and Aretha was Classic! What a moment! WOW."
