Christina Aguilera gave birth to her second child, a baby girl, on Saturday. The infant is her first with fiance Matt Rutler, who proposed to her on Valentine's Day.

The singer announced the news on Twitter on Monday and revealed her infant's name:

Many popular hippie names are nature inspired, and Summer Rain certainly meets the criteria.

The pop star has a six-year-old son, Max, from her previous marriage to producer Jordan Bratman.

Aguilera's pregnancy hasn't slowed her down. Last week she posted photo of herself in the recording studio cradling her tummy with ear phones. She wrote: "Baby girl getting first listen to what mama's been creating in the studio."

A week prior to that she posted a glamorous naked pregnancy shot on Instagram. She thanked those from her "glam fam," writing in part:  "I couldn't appreciate you & your team more for bringing to life such an epic shoot. Giving me the freedom to bare my soul & body at this incredible, magical, transition time in my life. #Grateful."
