It's almost impossible to believe that Cher is 67 years old. The singer performed at TD Garden in Boston, Mass., on Thursday wearing a skimpy stage costume that would be salacious on a woman 40 years her junior.
Cher donned a "dress" made of strands of gems that dripped down her arms and thighs. Her chest was completely bare except for a pair of red, heart-shaped pasties. Pushing 70? She certainly doesn't look like it!
The star's longtime costume designer, Bob Mackie, withdrew from her current tour due to other commitments. Hugh Durant, a British designer she previously worked with in 2003, has stepped in to take his place.
Mackie is famous for creating scintillating sequined and feathered costumes for Cher, including the headline-grabbing, see-through black dress she wore to the Academy Awards in 1988 when she won the Best Actress Oscar for "Moonstruck."
Tina Turner, Liza Minnelli, Carol Burnett, Diana Ross and Whitney Houston have also worn Mackie's creations.
