Celebs Who Should Not Sing
If you are a typical celebrity you usually do not have many abilities except for looking good and possibly acting. But you should not be singing. However, some celebs get ahead of themselves and think since they are so good looking they can do anything.
Singing is a skill that develops over time and takes years to perfect. Just because you are a celebrity does not mean you have the ability to sing.
Heidi Pratt is a prime example of a celeb that has no business trying to sing and dance. Beyonce Knowles has trained for years to become one of the best entertainers in the world, and Heidi Pratt thinks she can become the next Beyonce or Britney Spears after a few weeks of training.
She has no business singing, but thanks to her super savvy scumbag boyfriend she was able to sing and dance at the recent Miss Universe pageant. Spencer definitely paid The Donald to let Heidi make her debut at his pageant, and she did not disappoint. Yes, she is awful at singing and dancing but we have seen worse. Remember Britney's comeback? Ya, that was worse.
As we have said before, Ashlee Simpson is our girl. Although her career might be manufactured by her father she is not as talentless as she can sing, kinda. Ashlee does not have the best singing voice, but she is a rock star (kinda) and she has had a couple successful albums.
We all saw her struggle on Saturday Night Live, but that was not her fault and she was not lip synching. Her fan base is growing up, as is she, and maybe she will save herself some embarrassment and just become a fulltime mom. We think Ash has one album left, max.
Scarlett Johansson is a total babe. She is curvy, has a great smile, and a sexy sultry laugh and voice. She is married to stud Ryan Reynolds, and we can only hope he tells her to stop singing. We doubt a husband would not support his wife, but c'mon dude she is horrible.
The problem with Scarlett is she thinks she's a good singer, and it looks like she won't stop anytime soon. She just released her second album in September featuring Pete Yorn, and her first album met mixed reviews. Honestly, mixed reviews are a lot better than horrible reviews, but c'mon Scarlett, stick to your day job.
Paris Hilton is the epitome of a talentless celeb. Sure, she is smoking hot and has made her own money the past decade but still, Paris should not be scheduled to release her second album. She should have never released her first and now a second album can only do worse, right?
We admit we have listened to "Stars Are Blind" (Paris' hit single from last album) a few times, and we thought it was cute and funny. But we did not think it would lead to another album. Someone gave her confidence in her singing ability (probably her own ego), and it's ridiculous that she has two albums and someone out there who actually has talent has never released an album.
It has been over 15 years since Carmen Electra released her first album and we think she took the last 15 years off from singing for a reason. The reason being, perhaps Electra cannot sing.
Well, Electra is scheduled to release her second album "C-17" October 13, and we have no idea why. Carmen has not been relevant since her MTV days as host of "Singled Out," and this album will not make her more famous or prolong her career. The only thing it will do will make people laugh at her more than they are now. Does anybody under the age of 18 even know why Electra is popular?
One of the reasons why we love foreign countries is their favorite Americans are not even close to our favorite Americans. For example David Hasselhoff is a musical God in Europe, specifically Germany, where he had a #1 hit called "Looking for Freedom" and had two more top-ten hits in 1989 and 1993.
Needless to say, David Hasselhoff will never have a top-ten pop chart hit in the USA, but we're happy for the Hoff. Sure, he makes a fool out of himself in nearly everything he does, including that silly America's Got Talent show, but like we mentioned earlier, we love the American stars in Europe.
