John J. Curran Biography:
John Curran studied illustration and design at Syracuse University in New York until 1981, after which he worked as an illustrator, graphic designer, and production designer in New York. He moved to Australia in 1986 where he made pop promos and commercials before directing his first short film, Down Rusty Down, produced by Martha Coleman. Praise (1998) was his first feature.
