Most Americans may not be familiar with British girl band Girls Aloud, but member Cheryl Cole is one of the stand-out stars. Earlier this year she was famously fired by Simon Cowell as a judge on the American version of "The X Factor" reportedly due to her thick accent.

Cole earned $1.8 million fee for her short stint on the series, but filed a lawsuit with the Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, claiming she is still owed millions of dollars as part of a "pay or play" clause in her contract.

Cole, who has also judged the British version of "The X Factor," looked pretty amazing at the Jingle Bell Ball in London, England, over the weekend wearing a snappy, low-cut pantsuit with gold buttons on the jacket.

The singer was spotted out and about several times over the weekend, including in a see-through lace blouse while out to dinner with friends.
