Former Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel and her estranged husband, Jason Hoppy, came face to face in court on Friday as they met to discuss the terms of their divorce.

The liquor entrepreneur has been involved in a battle with Hoppy for sole custody of their two-year-old daughter Bryn, and despite Friday's tensions the former couple has agreed to "continue to amicably co-parent Bryn since they separated.

In addition to seeking custody, Hoppy is also asking that Frankel pay his lawyer fees, medical bills and keep him on as the beneficiary of her life insurance policy. He also wants "exclusive use" of the home they shared while married, according to In Touch Weekly.

The couple separated in December and Frankel filed for divorce a month later. She retained the services of the same lawyers that represented Katie Holmes in her divorce from Tom Cruise, however this one's not moving along quite as quickly -- Holmes and Cruise were divorced less than two weeks after separating.

Frankel recently shared how trying the divorce has been on her.

"It's rough. I have to say, divorce is the most difficult thing you could ever go through in your entire life..." she recently told Good Day New York. "I never heard how excruciating it is... It's a brutal, unnatural situation."
